Hi from Jackie....just wanted to comment on your post. I am in San Diego for another week and need my Polish connections...so glad for yours and Nielson's mission blog :). I have a cousin here who has collected Polish pottery for the last 4 years from the very place that you toured and wrote about... she was so excited that I have moved to Poland and to be able to check into this pottery. She actually gets hers through the QVC shopping channel (based in Penn) and they get it all from this factory. My cousin downloaded the article ...the pieces are so beautiful...and to think you just went to see this place. How far away is it from Warsaw? Did you buy any pieces? My cousin has almost 90 pieces and they use them often...they are not just decorative. My cousin's husband loves the pieces just as much. I am looking forward to visiting with Mark...hopefully soon.
